Job Description

About the Role

The People Intern (HR) will assist the Peoples team by providing quality HR compliance and administrative support, gaining practical exposure to the entire employment cycle, including recruitment, performance management, labor relations, compensation, benefits and reward, organizational design, employee wellness, and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities

Office Management tasks
Booking training courses for employees and administration and ensuring that invoices are paid timeously
Assisting in the planning of company events
Assisting with all BBBEE related administration
Assist with all HR generalist related duties
Inputting employee records onto the HR Information System
Timous submission of payroll related documents for processing
Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters
Posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms
Screening potential employees’ resumes and application forms
Organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates

Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate essential
Diploma in Human Resource Management is essential
Computer literate i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organization and administration skills and attention to detail
High level of ownership and respect
Results driven
Proactive and driven
Reliable; punctual and conscientious
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
