About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Reservationist to join our luxury boutique beach resort in Zanzibar, where you will combine reservations management, marketing, and sales responsibilities to deliver an exceptional guest experience while driving bookings and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reservations across multiple channels, including online platforms
- Handle guest enquiries promptly, professionally, and with a personal touch
- Maintain accurate reservation records and ensure all bookings are correctly documented
- Assist in marketing and sales initiatives to maximise occupancy and revenue
- Meet individual and team targets, with performance-linked bonuses
- Coordinate with operations and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Support promotional campaigns and manage upselling opportunities
Requirements
- Proven experience in reservations, sales, or marketing within the luxury hospitality sector
- Strong knowledge of online booking platforms and channel management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Target-driven and motivated to achieve results
- People-focused; with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues
- Professional; organised, and detail-oriented
