About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting an accomplished Reservations Manager to lead the booking operations for a prestigious luxury lodge based in the Kruger National Park. Reporting directly to the Executive Management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the seamless execution of guest bookings, revenue optimisation, and departmental leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all individual and group reservation activities, ensuring absolute data integrity within the Property Management System (PMS).
- Maximise room occupancy and revenue through strategic rate management, forecasting, and demand analysis.
- Supervise and train the reservations team to maintain the highest standards of professional guest and agent communication.
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with global travel agents and tour operators.
- Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Operations to ensure the flawless delivery of special guest requirements and VIP arrivals.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
A minimum of 3–5 years’ established experience in hotel or luxury lodge reservations. Education: A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management (or a related field) is preferred. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PMS and global booking platforms. Core Competencies: Exceptional organisational abilities, revenue management awareness, and a high level of problem-solving expertise.
