About the Role
The Production Millwright is a key member of our production team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and consistent operation of machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and optimise production machinery to meet output and quality targets
- Monitor equipment performance during production runs and make real-time adjustments where required
- Assist with machine changeovers, start-ups, and shutdowns to minimise production interruptions
- Work closely with production teams to improve cycle times, throughput, and equipment efficiency
- Identify production-related issues and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a qualified Millwright within a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production machinery, manufacturing processes, and plant operations
- Experience working with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and automated production equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot production-related equipment issues
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work closely with production and operations staff
Qualifications
Trade Test certification required.
