About the Role
Abantu Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial leadership and support to drive business growth and efficiency. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial insights to decision-makers across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial planning, performance tracking, cost control, and profitability analysis for both manufacturing operations and sales and distribution activities
- Ensure decision-makers across production, logistics, and sales are equipped with timely and accurate financial insights to drive efficiency and growth
- Undertake financial feasibility analysis, evaluations or business projects and advise on the optimisation of resources and profitability of the project
- Conduct special studies to analyse financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action
- Budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and providing insights that support strategic planning and performance management
- Daily accounting, expense control and business partnering

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Management Accounting or related fields (NQF 8) – an Honour’s Degree is advantageous
- CIMA registration is preferable
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting/ Management Accounting, of which 3-5 years should be at the management level
- Computer literacy (MS Office suite, SAP, ERP Systems, and job-specific software systems)
- Advanced skills in financial modelling and modelling tools
- Excellent MS Excel competency
- In-depth knowledge of relevant financial processes and procedures
- Effective problem-solver, able to manage change and can also come up with new ideas and solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Goal-oriented approach
