Job Description

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (compulsory) plus a relevant Tertiary Degree; Honours in Business/Supply Chain Management or similar preferred.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Warehousing & Distribution, Transport, FMCG, and/or QRS/Quality Management.
  • Systems and tools:
    • MS Office (intermediate or better); Advanced Excel.
    • Advanced experience with Great Plains (GP).
    • Advanced WMS skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication (English).
  • Ownership mindset, strong attention to detail, and outstanding time management.
  • Planning and organisational strength; results and deadlinedriven.
  • Problemsolving ability and a collaborative, teamfirst approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a warehousing shift to meet and exceed contractual service levels.
  • Plan shifts in advance, aligning staffing and equipment to volume and timing; communicate the plan and report on plan vs. actual.
  • Control costs within budget; investigate variances and implement countermeasures.
  • Drive procedural and quality compliance (DQSP), address nonconformances, and reject outofspec product.
  • Ensure complete, accurate shift documentation and ontime reporting.
  • Monitor time and attendance; enforce safety, correcting unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Build a highperformance team: train, coach, hold staff accountable, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Champion continuous improvement, living our company values and embedding them in daily routines.
