South Africa: Temporary Cleaner / Lane Assistant

About the Role

The successful candidate will be employed as a Temporary Cleaner / Lane Assistant at our toll plaza location, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of gardens, stores, booths, and lanes. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that gardens, stores, booths, and lanes at the toll plaza are cleaned and maintained.
• Comply with Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies and breakages or need for repairs and replacement.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Make adjustment and minor repairs to cleaning equipment/machinery and stores.
• Ensure that paved surfaces are cleaned and without weeds.
• Ensure cleaning machinery and chemicals are as per the suppliers specification and material data sheets, kept clean and locked away when not in use.

Requirements

• Grade 10 (minimum)
• Inhouse training
• Basic Knowledge of Working of Garden and Pressure Cleaning Equipment
• Interpersonal Relationship Skills
• Excellent Communication Skills in Afrikaans and English
• Knowledge of Cleaning chemicals and Material Safety Data Sheets
