About the Role

Our client, an established investment holding company headquartered in Stellenbosch, is looking to appoint a highly organised and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their Property Investments team. The role will provide comprehensive administrative and property-management support across various aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with property administration, including drafting operator agreements and maintaining property documentation on MRI Property Central / MDA Property Manager
  • Support property inspections, maintenance follow-up and compliance administration
  • Maintain safety registers, assist with safety files, inspections, monthly submissions and health & safety documentation
  • Request COID Letters of Good Standing and assist with contractor compliance
  • Assist with scheduling toolbox talks, consultant meetings and incident investigations
  • Manage general office administration, including office supplies, correspondence and telephone calls
  • Digitise and upload documents to MRI MDA and shared drives
  • Assist with rental accounts, monthly billing meetings, quotes and invoices
  • Manage tenant waiting lists and assist with drafting and renewing lease agreements
  • Assist with investigating tenant complaints and supporting tenant relations

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Minimum of 2 years strong property administration experience
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
  • Rental and property administration experience will be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • MRI MDA software experience will be beneficial
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
