About the Role
We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance Worker to join our team in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in various trades and be able to work independently. As a General Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, from minor repairs to more complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Verfwerk, klein herstelwerk, pleisterwerk en afsmeer van mure
- Teëlwerk – installasie en klein herstelwerk/instandhouding van teëls
- Werk op hoogtes
- Basiese elektriese herstelwerk, bv. vervang van skakelaar of prop. Algemene foutopsporing
- Basiese timmerwerk (carpentry) – vensters en deure, plafonne, glaswerk ens.
- Basiese loodgietersherstelwerk (plumbing) en -instandhouding – dreine, krane en pype
- Inspeksie en instandhouding van brandblussers en lugversorgers
- Terreininspeksies en assessering van skade by eiendomme
- Tuin- en besproeiingsinstandhouding – algemene herstelwerk en programmering van die stelsel
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in the mentioned trades
- Completed Grade 12 or Grade 11
- Valid Spanner (no specific requirements mentioned)
