About the Role
The Global Payroll Tax Administrator will be responsible for managing payroll tax calculations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate gross-to-net processing within country-specific frameworks. The successful candidate will also prepare and review monthly and annual payroll tax filings, identify and resolve payroll tax discrepancies, and liaise with local in-country stakeholders to resolve queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage payroll tax calculations across multiple jurisdictions ensuring accurate gross-to-net processing within country-specific frameworks
- Prepare and review monthly and annual payroll tax filings across relevant countries
- Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll tax discrepancies
- Liaise with local in-country stakeholders for query resolution
- Any additional related ad-hoc tasks
Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (NQF Level 7)
- Proven operational payroll and/or tax experience in multi-jurisdiction or cross-border environments.
- Direct ownership of payroll tax submissions
- Strong understanding of compliance risk within international payroll structures.
- Advanced Excel capability (including lookup functions, nested IF statements, pivot tables, data reconciliation).
- Strong analytical and investigative mindset
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to operate effectively under strict global deadlines across time zones.
- Clear and professional written communication skills (client-facing exposure preferred)
