About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join our team in Stellenbosch. As a key member of our data science team, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects that drive business impact and contribute to the development of automation tools that streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore and prepare structured & unstructured financial data
- Support machine learning model development and anomaly detection
- Build reports and dashboards (Power BI) to share insights
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business teams to deliver actionable solutions

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
- 02 years of experience in data analysis or data science (finance industry exposure a plus)
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn)
- Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and Excel
