- Matric / Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification
- Very strong administration skills
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience in conducting training sessions and supporting team development
- Capability to perform basic quality testing and assessments
- Proactive approach in identifying and solving quality issues
- Own transport and license
- Willing to work overtime and night shifts during peak season
Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures throughout the packing process from receiving raw materials to dispatching finished products
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and collaborate with the team to implement solutions that enhance product quality and safety
Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices, including HACCP and GlobalGAP requirements
Audits and Inspections:
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards; address any non-compliance issues effectively
Training and Development:
- Provide ongoing training to staff on quality standards, compliance requirements, and food handling practices
Reporting:
- Prepare regular quality performance reports, documenting inspection results, quality issues, and corrective actions taken
