About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Trainer to join our team at Sunnyside, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training programs that drive employee growth and development within our fast-food restaurants. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that promote a culture of excellence and passion for the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and deliver detailed training on company products, services, standard operating procedures, and learning interventions
- Maintain positive working relationships with Restaurant Managers, Operations Department, and Head Office
- Run induction programs and train new staff in all restaurants in Pretoria and Johannesburg
- Drive targeted training programs within the company
- Design and develop internal training programs and material for various departments
- Provide training support to Skills Trainers and restaurants
- Assess and evaluate product knowledge and skills levels, planning upskilling and elevating awareness of training and development
- Maintain the Training System and database for Skills Development and Training information
- Assist with submitting Work Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR)
- Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures
Requirements
- 2 years of Trainer experience within the restaurant/hospitality industry
- Up-to-date knowledge of training/learner management systems in the restaurant industry
- Understanding of South African Skills Development Legislation
- Proven English literacy and fluency
- Own car and valid driver’s license (South African Driving License and own vehicle required for frequent travel)
