About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Management Couple to join our 5-star Beach Lodge in Swellendam. As second-in-command, you will support senior management with daily operations, ensuring high guest service standards and managing staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage staff and ensure high guest service standards
- Support senior management with daily operations
- Maintain strong relationships with guests and colleagues
- Oversee maintenance and vehicle maintenance of the lodge
- Administer HR tasks and processes
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in 5-star properties
- Own transport and valid driver’s licence (essential)
- Strong team management and time management skills
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinking with ability to think on feet
- Outgoing personalities with strong guest engagement and hosting skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Qualifications
- FGASA Level 1 Marine qualification (or Level 1 with Marine to be completed within 6 months of employment)
- All guiding qualifications up to date and valid
- First Aid Level 1
- Basic HR knowledge
