About the Role

Lara Talent is seeking an experienced Candidate Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Durban, working on large private sector projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and measurements to gather data for quantity surveying tasks
• Prepare and submit bills of quantities and tender documents
• Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring timely completion and cost control
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• B.Sc Honours degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Registered as a Candidate QS with SAQSP or RICS
• DIMX expertise is essential for this role
• 5 years of experience in a consulting firm, preferably on high-profile projects such as hotels, retail, large residential, industrial, and office developments

Qualifications

• Formal education/certification: B.Sc Honours degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
