Job Title: Site Engineer/Technologist
Location: Welkom, Free State

Job Overview:
Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join their team in Welkom, Free State. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil engineering and project management, with strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate projects, collaborating with stakeholders to establish timelines and budgets.
Conduct site inspections, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.
Manage quality control, performing tests and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Enforce health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and hazards.
Oversee construction activities, scheduling work and coordinating subcontractors.
Communicate with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
Maintain documentation of project activities and prepare regular reports.
Solve problems and make decisions to keep the project on track.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (BEng or BTech)
Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (PrEng or PrTech)
8 to 10 years of experience in the construction and civil engineering field
Fluency in Sesotho and English
Proven experience as a Site Engineer/Technologist
Software proficiency including but not limited to AutoCAD, Revit, MS Projects
Strong problem solving skills
Skilled in communication and interaction with stakeholders including clients, subcontractors and project teams
Leadership and management of teams on site
