About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd in Cape Town, Western Cape. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial records for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for property management clients.
• Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations in accordance with accounting principles.
• Utilize accounting software to manage client accounts and generate reports.
• Provide exceptional customer service to property managers, tenants, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, payroll, and property management accounting regulations.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel Accounting, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to generate reports.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise with property managers, tenants, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related qualification.
