About the Role
Communicate Finance is seeking a skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team in the Western Cape. As a key member of our infrastructure projects, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing bridge structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing technical support during construction. Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze bridge structures in accordance with relevant standards and codes
- Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure projects
- Provide technical support during construction and attend site inspections when required
- Assist with condition assessments and rehabilitation designs
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in bridge or structural engineering
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and structural steel
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s licence
Qualifications
- BEng or BTech in Civil or Structural Engineering
Salary & Benefits
Salary will be discussed during the interview process. Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
