About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join our team at Manpower Group in Cape Town, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in document management and production, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dictaphone and copy-typing of a wide range of legal documents
  • Typing, formatting and collating notices and pleadings
  • Incorporating amendments to documents and verifying accuracy
  • Preparing resource, counsel and client files
  • Diary management and coordination of appointments
  • Managing telephone calls and tracking messages
  • General office and personal administration support
  • Strong organizational oversight of professional practices

Requirements

  • 7-10 years’ experience as a legal secretary
  • Matric certificate
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Aderant Expert (CMS) accounting system
  • Knowledge of iManage document management system

Qualifications

  • Secretarial diploma / legal secretarial diploma / paralegal qualification
