Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell PPE and industrial consumables to new and existing clients
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within assigned territory
- Conduct needs analyses, product demonstrations, and provide quotations/proposals
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to close sales successfully
- Maintain and grow an existing customer base while expanding into new accounts
- Plan daily sales routes efficiently to maximize customer coverage
- Manage customer queries and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction
- Record sales activities and customer interactions accurately in the CRM system
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activity
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Provide feedback to management on market conditions, customer needs, and sales performance
- Represent the company professionally and uphold brand values
Requirements:
- Well-spoken, professional, and presentable
- Own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver’s licence
- Matric qualification (Matric certificate required)
- Age between 26 and 52 years
- Minimum 5 years proven sales experience
- PPE sales experience is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of industrial consumables and products is highly advantageous
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Previous experience using a CRM system and reporting on sales calls is an advantage
- Technically savvy and comfortable using sales-related technology
- Excellent sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven
- Ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
- Must demonstrate employment stability (no frequent job changes)

Location: Maitland – candidate must reside in Cape Town itself and not have to travel from outside of CT
