Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft Annual Financial Statements using Draftworx
- Conduct Independent Reviews and compile related reports
- Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of Financial Statements
- Provide support and guidance to junior clerks in resolving queries
- Engage with existing and prospective clients through meetings and consultations
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- 46 years of proven experience in an accounting role
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Honours degree is an added advantage)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced level)
- Working knowledge of Sage and Xero accounting systems
- Familiarity with Draftworx software (beneficial)
- Background in audit processes and procedures
- Completion of SAICA/SAIPA articles (advantageous)
Working Conditions:
- This is a full-time, office-based role with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.
- The Senior Clerk primarily operates within an office setting and may occasionally be required to work outside of normal hours to meet deadlines, handle urgent issues, or support special projects.
