Job Description
- BSc. / BEng. / BTech. Civil or Structural Engineering degree
- Experienced in buildings-focused and / or water retaining structures Structural Engineering experience across different structural forms, construction materials, design stages and project sectors.
- Strong analytical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, combined with practical understanding of buildings and construction.
- Experience in approval, review, management, preparation and checking of well-presented design calculations, notes, reports and general correspondence.
- Conversant with design and building codes with leading industry analysis and design software.
Duties include:
- Structural engineering design of projects.
- Working as part of a team to carry out hands-on design for a variety of projects, including appropriate use of technical analysis and design software packages.
- Liaising with other project members and Clients from inception to completion.
- Working closely with designers of other disciplines to produce coordinated designs.
- Managing the production of models, drawings, reports and specifications to budgets and deadlines
- Analysing, designing, specification and report writing.
