About the Role

Join our team as a Trails Guide at Wild Dreams Hospitality’s Game Reserve in Zululand, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your passion for conservation and wildlife with guests while working in a breathtakingly beautiful setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Rotate through different lodges depending on occupancies
• Provide walking safaris in dangerous game areas
• Manage risk and respond calmly in high-pressure situations
• Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ guiding experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Possession of a valid PDP (Professional Development Plan)
• ARH (African Ranger Handbook) and Rifle Handling Competency
• First Aid Level 1 certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable living and working in remote environments

Qualifications

• FGASA (Field Guides Association of South Africa) membership
• Back-up Trails certification
