Job Summary

What You’ll Be Doing: As our Finance Process Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our financial processes. Your responsibilities will include: Managing Cashbook Entries: Oversee daily cashbook entries, ensuring accurate recording and timely processing of transactions. Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and identify any discrepancies. Processing Payments: Handle all aspects of payment processing, ensuring that all transactions are executed promptly and accurately. Financial Compliance: Work closely with the finance team to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant legal financial regulations. Supporting Financial Systems: Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of our financial management systems to improve efficiency. What Were Looking For: Qualifications: A BCom Degree or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or related fields. Experience: Proven experience in handling cashbooks and processing financial transactions. Bonus Points: Familiarity with CMS (Case Management Systems) is a definite advantage. Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications Excellent communication and organizational skills A proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Job Summary

What You’ll Be Doing: As our Trade Credit Controller, you’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing our trade credit processes. Your key duties will include: – Credit Management: Assess and manage credit risk by evaluating customer creditworthiness and determining appropriate credit limits. – Accounts Receivable: Oversee the collections process, ensuring the timely receipt of payments and reducing outstanding debt. – Credit Control Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate credit reports to track outstanding balances, overdue accounts, and cash flow projections. – Customer Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve any credit-related issues, negotiate payment terms, and address queries. – Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast cash flow related to trade credit, ensuring the firms financial stability. – Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate records are maintained in line with internal policies and procedures. – Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies relating to credit management. – CMS Integration: Assist in the integration of Case Management Systems (CMS) to streamline credit control processes and improve overall efficiency. What Were Looking For: – Qualifications : A relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field. – Experience : Proven experience in trade credit control, accounts receivable, or similar financial roles. – Bonus Points : Familiarity with CMS (Case Management Systems) will be highly advantageous. – Skills & Attributes : o Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail o Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software o Excellent communication and negotiation skills o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines o A proactive approach to problem-solving and credit risk management
