Job Summary
- Analyse and assess bespoke web applications to prepare and execute comprehensive test strategies
- Perform both manual and automated testingacross multiple browsers, devices, and platforms
- Configure and manage QA and pre-production environments, ensuring appropriate test data, settings, and modules are in place
- Develop and maintain automated test scriptswithin a DevOps framework
- Work collaboratively with junior testers, providing mentorship and ensuring best practices are followed
- Conduct functional, regression, usability, performance, and security testingacross the system
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, operations, call centres, and external service providersto resolve issues and improve application stability
- Liaise with third-party vendorsto support API, integration, and end-to-end testing
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of browsers, web technologies, and debugging tools
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks(e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Experience configuring QA/pre-production environmentsand managing test data
- Working knowledge of API testing(e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and database validation (SQL)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools(e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with performance and security testing tools
- Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams,
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in web application testing within Agile/DevOps frameworks
- Experience working with junior testers, fostering a collaborative QA team culture
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to drive quality assurance best practices and streamline test processes
