Job Summary
- Manage a portfolio of monthly clients
- Capturing of bank and other statements
- Preparation of journal entries
- Maintain a fixed asset register
- Reconciling of month end accounts
- Preparation of management reports
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Preparation of statutory returns: Vat, Paye, Emp501, WCA
- Proficient in Sage, Xero
- Intermediate Excel skills
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 3 years verifiable experience in a similar role
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Completed articles
- An understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent verbal, communication and written skills
- Ability to perform in a pressurised and demanding work environment
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Attention to detail
