Job Description
Building and Maintaining Relationships: Cultivating strong relationships with corporate clients, travel managers, and other key decision-makers.
Securing Corporate Accounts: Actively soliciting business from corporations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Developing Sales Strategies: Creating and implementing sales plans tailored to the needs of corporate clients, including event planning and long-term travel arrangements.
Understanding Corporate Travel Policies: Ensuring that the hotel’s offerings align with corporate travel policies and budgets.
Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with various departments within the hotel (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) and with external stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.
Meeting Sales Targets: Achieving or exceeding sales targets and contributing to the overall revenue goals of the hotel group.
Market Analysis and Reporting: Monitoring market trends, analysing sales data, and providing regular reports on sales performance and opportunities.
Representing the Hotel: Professionally representing the hotel at industry events and meetings.
Requirements:
Grade 12
A formal qualification
At least 3+ years’ experience in corporate sales in the hospitality industry
Proven ability to close deals, negotiate contracts, and build lasting relationships.
Understanding the needs and preferences of corporate clients and the dynamics of the corporate travel industry.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with tools used to track sales, manage leads and analyse performance.
Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and adapt to changing market conditions.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and potentially lead a sales team.
