Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain creditors for multiple branches, handling high transaction volumes. Perform reconciliations, process payments and manage ad hoc financial transactions. Oversee petty cash management and reconcile credit card transactions. Ensure accurate revenue recognition and financial reporting. Prepare accounts for multiple smaller entities up to Trial Balance. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations with high accuracy. Utilize advanced Excel functions including formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables; integrate with online applications. Provide general administrative and financial support as required. Complete tasks hands-on, with meticulous attention to detail. Assist with ad hoc duties as required by management. Systems Experience: Xero Sage Excel (Advanced) Outlook & Teams Training will be provided for other internal systems Candidate Requirements: 1015 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper, preferably in a multi-branch environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. High levels of honesty, reliability and professional ethics. Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. A degree in Accounting is highly desirable. Attributes and Competencies: Dynamic, adaptable and proactive mindset. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to prioritize tasks and think clearly under pressure. Hands-on approach with a willingness to go the extra mile. Preferred Experience: Multi-branch bookkeeping Managing high transaction volumes

Job Description

Responsibilities: Responsible for handling the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance. Responsible for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Preparation and filing of VAT, PAYE, and statutory returns. Provide assistance with the monthly management accounts. Requirements: Minimum National Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience within a professional services environment. Must be proficient using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or Pastel.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The role involves preparing and maintaining financial and management accounting information across multiple entities, as well as providing support to other business functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to grow and gain exposure to a variety of accounting functions. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple entities. Process VAT transactions and assist with SARS submissions. Capture and reconcile bank statements. Manage supplier invoices, bank statements, and other financial documentation. Maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation calculations. Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts. Provide support with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks. Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Financial Accounting (or currently studying towards one). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Pastel Partner (advantageous). Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Able to prioritise, multitask, and work independently. Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to change.
