Job Title: Driver Code 10 Location: JHB – Eastern Suburbs- Jet Park Type: Contractor Duties and Responsibilities: Transport goods safely to various locations Handle glass products with care to prevent damages Ensure timely deliveries Maintain vehicle cleanliness and condition Safely operate company vehicle specialized glass carriers in accordance with road laws and company policies Load secure and unload glass sheets and related materials using appropriate lifting and securing equipment Deliver glass products to customers ensuring accurate documentation Assist with warehouse duties when required including glass storage and inventory Experience in 8 ton trucks Skills and Qualifications: Grade 12/Matric certificate Valid Driver Code 10 license with PDP 3-5 years of driving experience Previous experience in glass industry deliveries preferred Experience handling fragile or oversized loads (Glass , window , etc) is highly desirable Clean driving record

Job Summary Collect recycling and general waste material safely and efficiently at designated locations, within a set timeframe. Responsibilities Primary duties Loading and unloading goods from vehicles Keeping the vehicle safe and clean Refuel and clean vehicles Using navigation apps to determine the best route Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip Performing daily equipment checks Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines Inspect trucks and complete daily vehicle checklist before departing the yard and notify the Supervisor of any issues / defects Drives safely and follow all laws and rules of driving, to maintain a safe and healthy work environment Assist Runners by loading and off-loading material at collection points Count all bags loaded on vehicle Collect, maintain and organize all paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each collection Report and document any accidents or vehicles issues to Supervisor Adhere to all reasonable instructions given by the Supervisor Adhere to OHS ACT legislation Adhere to site regulations Keep drivers license up to date Secondary duties Assist with all ad hoc requests from client Assist with any administrative duties when required Assist with sorting and other general duties if required Requirements Matric / grade 12 or equivalent qualification Minimum 1 – 2 years working experience in a similar role Must have a valid code 10 drivers license and a valid PDP Relevant qualifications and experience, knowledge and skills Clean driving record Employment will be implemented in accordance with the Employment Equity Act.
