Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate all factory operations to achieve production, quality, and safety targets. Manage two operational shifts and five production supervisors, including scheduling and overtime control. Implement cost control measures and monitor raw material usage, expenses, and wastage against budget. Drive production planning, casting, and lane stripping to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets. Ensure effective communication so that supervisors, operators, and general staff understand and execute assigned tasks. Maintain detailed production and progress reports for management review. Enforce and maintain OHS standards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. Supervise the manufacture of precast elements, including stairs, beams, and lintels. Desired Experience & Qualifications Minimum 8 years relevant experience in a similar manufacturing or construction management role. Strong understanding of concrete production, formwork, reinforcing, and pre-tension steel (advantageous but not essential). Mechanical aptitude with exposure to concrete batch plants, saw-cutting machines, hydraulic jacks, and overhead cranes. Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams. Excellent administrative and reporting capabilities. Deadline-driven with proven ability to work under pressure and deliver against tight schedules. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. A leading textile manufacturer of homeware products, including bedding, fitted sheets, duvets, and curtains, is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead operations and maintain exceptional production standards. The Factory Manager will plan and manage production schedules, line balancing, and time studies to meet deadlines without compromising quality. The role oversees strict quality control across all stages of production, from fabric cutting to final packaging, while driving Lean initiatives to reduce waste, optimise labour, and improve cost-per-unit.
