About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Draughtsman to join our team at Cape Town Fire Sprinkler Specialists. As a leading provider of fire sprinkler systems in Cape Town, we require an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about creating accurate and detailed drawings for fire sprinkler systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings and plans for fire sprinkler systems based on specifications and requirements provided by our clients and engineers
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
- Review and revise drawings to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Create material lists and assist with procurement of materials
- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth implementation of fire sprinkler systems
- Assist with project documentation and record-keeping
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a draughtsman, preferably in the fire protection industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to fire protection systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a draughtsman, preferably in the fire protection industry (Note: No specific degree or certification required)
