About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join their team in Airport Industria, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating within the construction industry, particularly in the airport sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements
- Prepare detailed take-offs and material quantities
- Evaluate subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricing
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns and project schedules
- Communicate with clients to provide estimates and address any questions or concerns
- Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process
- Provide support to the project team as needed
Requirements
- Degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
- At least 5 years’ experience as an Estimator
- Minimum 5 years experience in the estimating function in the construction industry.
