About the Role
Leading fast-food franchise is expanding their operations, and we’re seeking skilled Assistant Restaurant Managers to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the business. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations
- Supervise staff and provide training
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (food safety and hygiene)
- Control operational costs and maximise profitability
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience managing a diverse workforce, in the fast-food restaurant/hotel industry
- Must be a Zambian national with a clear criminal history
- Valid driver’s license is advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and people management skills
- Strong figure acumen and proficiency in Excel (working in a digitised environment)
- Entrepreneurial flair and the ability to understand the customer focus
- Strong communication skills, at all levels
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification/diploma, degree preferred
