Job Description

About the Role

Cloud Sales will be responsible for promoting and selling our comprehensive cloud solutions while driving new business and managing relationships with prospective and existing clients. You will leverage your deep understanding of cloud technologies to identify client needs, demonstrate product offerings, and close sales opportunities. This role requires a blend of business development, consultative selling, and product expertise to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the cloud computing space through cold calling, networking, and inbound lead follow-ups.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement to deal closure, including presentations, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain deep knowledge of cloud products and solutions, understanding their value propositions and how they address clients’ business needs.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs related to cloud product sales, revenue, and customer acquisition.
  • Market Research: Stay informed of the latest trends, developments, and competitor offerings in the cloud computing industry.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, solutions architects, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback and insights to improve product offerings and sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Matric is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Experience in selling cloud-based solutions to enterprise clients is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud sales, software sales, or IT sales, preferably in a SaaS or IaaS environment.
