About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Store Controller to join our team in Bloemfontein. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our electrical and mechanical logistics fleet. With a strong background in problem-solving and technical expertise, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our products to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily route planning and briefing of drivers on most economical routes to be taken.
- Communicate with All Personnel to ensure Smooth Running of Loading and Offloading of Trucks.
- Ensure timely delivery of our products
- Physically checking any items returned before requesting credit notes to be passed
- Do physical truck inspections to determine preventative maintenance, repairs and damages, determine if damages were abuse and take disciplinary steps against driver if damage was caused through abuse.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to think on your feet and make decisions on the go.
- Driven by results, committed to meeting deadlines and targets, ambitious and dedicated, taking on full responsibility and ownership of the position and the fleet.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Risk management on and off site.
