About the Role
Our client, a leading inbound DMC, is seeking an experienced and service-driven Groups & Incentives Operations Consultant to join their team in Johannesburg. As a hands-on role, you will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end logistics of bespoke group and incentive travel programmes across Southern and East Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end logistics of bespoke group and incentive travel programmes
- Manage guests directly and provide exceptional customer service
- Set up itineraries, host groups, and manage a full travel file
- Work closely with clients and suppliers to ensure seamless operations
- Utilize Tourplan software to manage group files and itinerary setup
- Ensure operational efficiency and attention to detail in all aspects of the role
Requirements
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Groups & Incentives Operations or FIT consulting
- Strong working knowledge of Southern and East African safari destinations is essential
- Must have hands-on safari destination knowledge and operational experience
- Tourplan proficiency is non-negotiable
- Proven experience in setting up itineraries, hosting groups, and managing a full travel file
