About the Role
A Packhouse Manager role has become available in our packing facility at our Malandene Farm in Paarl. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage the pack house operations, ensuring high-quality product output, accuracy, and consistency in packhouse processes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all pack house staff, production, and administration
- Ensure sound leadership and direction in the pack house to meet sales targets, procure necessary supplies, and handle logistics
- Conduct audits, technical requirements & administration tasks
- Implement high standards of health and safety practices
- Perform human resource management
Requirements
- Minimum requirement: Grade 12 Senior Certificate
- Diploma in Agriculture or food hospitality industry beneficial (desirable but not essential)
- 2-3 years work experience in a similar or related role
- Management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good numerical and planning skills
- Self-disciplined, a team-player, honest, and of high integrity
