Farm Foreman Mixed Farming Position: Farm Foreman Location: Bloemfontein, Free State Salary: R20 000 R30 000 per month (depending on experience) Description We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in the Milling and Animal Feed sector, seeking an experienced Farm Foreman to oversee mixed farming operations based approximately 45km outside Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate has a solid mechanical background, hands-on experience in farm operations, and the ability to manage both people and day-to-day farm activities effectively. This is a permanent position suited to someone who is practical, reliable, and comfortable working within a structured management environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage day-to-day farm operations Manage and maintain cattle herds effectively Cultivate maize and maintain planted pasture under irrigation Perform general maintenance and upkeep of farm equipment Implement fire management and prevention strategies Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports to management Execute additional tasks as required by management Requirements Minimum 5 years of relevant farm management experience Strong mechanical knowledge and practical maintenance skills Valid driver’s license (Code 8 minimum) Proven experience in staff management and supervision Solid understanding of mixed farming operations (cattle and crop farming) Experience working in the Free State farming environment will be advantageous Ability to work within a structured management hierarchy and adhere to company farming standards Strong recordkeeping and reporting skills Must be willing to be based on a farm property approximately 45km from Bloemfontein Should you meet the above requirements and wish to be considered for this opportunity, please submit your CV for review.
