About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Butler to join our team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest service experiences in our luxury camp setting. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, well-spoken, and able to work under pressure to ensure high standards of service are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall guest service experience in the camp
- Provide full-service functionality to guests during all mealtimes
- Be accountable for all service-related stock consumption and stock takes, including cutlery & crockery
- Interact with guests to collect personal preferences and relevant information to tailor their experience
- Provide feedback to management on any issues noticed by yourself or the guests
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Formal butler / hospitality qualifications
- Experience in a senior butler role with responsibilities such as stock takes, ordering, staff management, etc.
- Well-spoken and organised
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good understanding of 5-star establishments
- Knowledge of the highest level of F&B customer service in a luxury environment
- Sound wine, cocktail, food knowledge preferred
- Sound knowledge when it comes to dietary requirements/preferences
Qualifications
Formal butler / hospitality qualifications are required for this role.
