About the Role
The successful Candidate/PRQS will be responsible for providing cost management expertise to our clients, working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of cost plans and detailed estimates from architectural drawings
- Compilation and management of overall project budgets
- Strong understanding and application of JBCC contracts
- Measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Cost and budget control throughout all project phases
- Measuring, assessing, and negotiating final accounts with principal contractors and subcontractors
- Contract administration and overall cost management
Requirements
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience:
- 3-8 years of experience within a consulting firm as a candidate or PrQS
- Experience on commercial, mixed-use, and public sector projects
Qualifications
- Formal Education: BSc Quantity Surveying
