About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team at Sea Harvest Corporation Ltd in Cape Town. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering goods, materials, and documents from suppliers and vendors, while ensuring timely transportation of procurement items to warehouses, stores, or project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and deliver goods, materials, and documents from suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure timely transportation of procurement items to warehouses, stores, or project sites.
  • Verify delivery notes, invoices, and purchase orders during collection and delivery.
  • Assist in loading and unloading goods safely.
  • Maintain accurate transport and delivery records.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and compliant with traffic regulations.
  • Support inventory/stores teams when required.
  • Follow procurement schedules and assigned routes efficiently.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of transported items.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
  • Valid drivers license (Code 8/10).
  • Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
