About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager & Admin / Accounts Couple to join a luxury lodge in KwaZulu-Natal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and managing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day lodge operations with a strong focus on guest experience
  • Anticipate guest needs and ensure personalised, high-end service delivery
  • Manage and support lodge staff, ensuring strong team performance and morale
  • Oversee the Head Chef with a focus on quality control and consistency
  • Ensure smooth coordination between all lodge departments
  • Maintain operational standards in line with luxury hospitality expectations
  • Assist with food and beverage stock control and ordering processes
  • Manage lodge administration and support operational requirements
  • Handle reservations and ensure accurate guest billing and account checks
  • Assist with basic financial processes (no heavy accounting required)
  • Work with systems such as Pastel and reservation/accounting platforms
  • Ensure accuracy in guest accounts and daily financial reconciliation
  • Support stock takes and purchasing processes where required

Requirements

  • 5–10 years’ experience in a luxury lodge or hospitality environment
  • Strong guest service orientation with the ability to “read” guests
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with staff
  • Solid administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with reservations systems and guest billing processes
  • Working knowledge of Pastel and lodge accounting systems advantageous
