About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sales Specialist with a passion for the marine and boating industry to join our team in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our footprint across South Africa and the broader African continent through strategic account development, relationship building, and high-level proposal writing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and maintain deep business relationships with existing and prospective clients across assigned international and domestic territories.
  • Secure new orders using a relationship-based approach via phone calls, cold calling, email, and virtual presentations.
  • Research prospective clients, analyze market potential, and design highly detailed, accurate written proposals and quotations.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.
  • Supply management with regular reports on customer needs, competitive landscape activities, and industry trends to help guide product development.
  • Coordinate and manage company participation in boat/trade shows, conventions, and industry events.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 minimum
  • A proven track record in sales accompanied by direct experience or strong knowledge/exposure to the marine/boating industry
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (highly proficient with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Strong financial acumen, project costing abilities, and CRM software management experience
  • Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

  • A proven track record in sales accompanied by direct experience or strong knowledge/exposure to the marine/boating industry
