About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Workshop Assistant to join our team in Table View, supporting our technicians with daily maintenance activities and providing essential support during breakdowns and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with servicing, repairs, and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Prepare tools, materials, and work areas for daily maintenance activities
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Support basic diagnostics and fault-finding processes
- Travel to operational sites to assist with breakdowns and repairs
- Use modern diagnostic equipment and AI-supported systems
- Assist with general workshop duties and operational support when required
Requirements
Basic mechanical knowledge, preferably relating to diesel machinery, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery
Fluency in Afrikaans and English
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel between sites
Physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on work
Basic computer literacy
