Cape Town City Centre: Sales Representative – Tooling & Hardware

About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for driving sales growth through effective marketing and relationship-building with existing and potential customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing and selling of Products and services to existing and potential customers.
  • Servicing existing clients and liaising with new prospects for new business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Filling out of Call Reports and, on occasion, delivery of products and services to the customer.
  • Reporting non-conforming products, services, and customer complaints to management.
  • Providing feedback to customers on products, services, deliveries, and queries.
  • Determining the degree of customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction.

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Relevant qualification advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably within the industrial tool market or similar
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to win customers over
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and urgency
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Great attention to detail
  • Committed and reliable
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, as well as experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingual English & Afrikaans
