About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to join our team in Menlyn, South Africa. As a key member of our agile delivery team, you will be responsible for assisting with problem identification and solutioning, as well as providing system proposal and design specifications to technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Initial focus on OPS & master data
- Ability to assist with problem identification and solutioning (ABAP debugging)
- Work in an agile delivery team with SAP functional and technical consultants
- Documentation of as-is and to-be business processes
- Co-ordination with other SAP products / SAP consultants for integration requirements
- Support of product owners
- Preparation of test cases & user manuals
- Proactive smart system monitoring, maintenance and reporting of system landscapes
- Planning maintenance tasks and changes in accordance with product requirements
- 1st and or 2nd level support for system incidents
- Ensure best practise methodologies utilised during SAP lifecycle
- Trend analysis
- Troubleshooting / problem solving
- Implementation / release of database changes
Requirements
- IT degree or diploma
- 8 years equivalent experience in SAP
- SAP certification
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
