About the Role
Efficiency Staffing Solutions (Pty) Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our cleaning staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise kitchen areas, dining areas, serving areas, and workstations
- Sweep, mop, wash, and maintain floors according to the cleaning schedule
- Clean tables, counters, chairs, appliances, and other surfaces
- Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment where required
- Empty bins and dispose of waste according to site procedures
- Refill cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor
- Follow all hygiene, food safety, and health and safety requirements
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Report any damages, hazards, or maintenance concerns to the relevant supervisor
- Assist with ad-hoc cleaning and support duties as and when required
Requirements
- Matric will be advantageous
- Previous cleaning experience in a canteen, kitchen, corporate, or food service environment will be advantageous
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, hygiene procedures, and safe handling of cleaning equipment
- Food safety awareness will be an added advantage
- First Aid / Fire Fighting / OHS qualifications will be an added advantage
