About the Role
The Centurion: Inventory Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory, maintaining operational excellence, and driving business growth through effective process improvements and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Responsibility: Ensure costs are captured in the month incurred (Labor, MHE R&M, Stock Losses)
- Operational Replenishment: Ensure stock replenishment is completed before commencement of work
- Inventory Control: Ensure inventory is correctly labelled before put away and all stock receipted is put away daily in the correct locations
- Non-conforming Product Management: Ensure all expired, short shelf life and damaged products are segregated, isolated, and safe disposal is recorded and adjusted off the system immediately according to DQSP processes
- Inter DC Transactions: Ensure in-transit sites are reconciled and cleared within 48 hours after receipt
- Export transactions: Ensure control of stock movement between local and export locations
- Daily Stock Accuracy: Ensure pick slots count and empty bin verification is completed daily and investigate variances
- People Management: Host monthly staff meeting with all staff, ensure DQSP compliance, succession plan in place for career development, and liaise with HR department

- 10 Years of experience in Warehousing/Distribution
- 5 Years of experience in Stock Management
- Minimum Grade 12 with Higher Grade Math
- Relevant Tertiary Degree or Qualification (not specified)
