About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechatronics Engineer to join our team in Paarl. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electro-mechanical systems, providing technical support to customers, and collaborating with field technicians to resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electro-mechanical systems using PLC programming (Siemens)
- Provide technical support and training to customers
- Supervise installation and commissioning phases of projects
- Collaborate with field technicians to solve technical problems
- Develop expertise in servo drives, particularly for travel-intensive projects
Requirements
- Completed BEng or BSc degree in Mechatronics
- 1-3 years experience in Electro-Mechanical and Electrical designs
- Experience with PLC programming (Siemens)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Valid driver’s license, clear credit record, and criminal record
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: BEng or BSc degree in Mechatronics
