About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechatronics Engineer to join our team in Paarl. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electro-mechanical and electrical systems, providing technical support and training to customers, and collaborating with field technicians to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electro-mechanical and electrical systems
  • Provide technical support and training to customers
  • Collaborate with field technicians to solve complex problems
  • Supervise installation and commissioning phase
  • Develop and maintain expertise in PLC programming (Siemens)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servo drives

Requirements

  • Completed BEng or BSc degree in Mechatronics
  • 1-3 years experience in Electro-Mechanical and Electrical designs
  • Experience with PLC programming (Siemens)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally

Qualifications

  • Formal education in Mechatronics is required
